Luis asks
I need to build a case for a raise. I am the lone IT support tech in a company of 250 as a result of layoffs, hiring freezes and people quitting. There are no plans to hire me any help for the next year my supervisor tells me. If I am going to do the work of a group of people then I think I deserve to be compensated for it. How can I approach this? I don’t want my job outsourced, I need it. But this is just unfair and at the very least I need to be properly compensated. Help?
